My adventure began the moment I touched down at Miami International Airport.

The warm, tropical breeze was the perfect welcome to the city.

I checked into my hotel in South Beach, a stylish boutique spot with art-deco vibes.

After unpacking, I strolled along Ocean Drive, where classic cars and pastel-colored buildings set the scene.

The first evening was about relaxation, so I found a cozy beachfront café and enjoyed a mojito while watching the sunset over the Atlantic.

Afterward, I grabbed breakfast at The Front Porch Café, known for its hearty dishes and beachy ambiance. With energy levels high, I spent the rest of the morning exploring the Art Deco Historic District, marveling at the unique architecture.

I rented a bike in the afternoon and rode along the Miami Beach Boardwalk. The views were breathtaking, with turquoise waters on one side and lush greenery on the other.

I ended the day with a swim in the crystal-clear waters of South Beach.

Day 3: The Art and Culture of Wynwood

Wynwood

On day three, I traded the beach for Miami’s artistic side.

Wynwood Walls was my first stop, an outdoor museum showcasing stunning street art by artists worldwide. Each mural told a different story, and I lost myself in the colors and creativity.

After immersing myself in the art scene, I explored the Wynwood neighborhood, filled with trendy boutiques, craft breweries, and galleries.

I took a break at Panther Coffee, a local favorite,  and then continued my art journey at the Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) Downtown.

  • Restaurant of the Day: KYU – Asian-inspired dishes with a modern twist.

Day 4: Little Havana’s Flavor and Flair

No trip to Miami is complete without experiencing the heart and soul of the city – Little Havana. I started the day with a Cuban coffee at Café La Carreta and then wandered down Calle Ocho, where the rhythm of salsa music filled the air.

The culture was palpable; from the older gentlemen playing dominoes in Máximo Gómez Park to the hand-rolled cigars in local shops, Little Havana is a sensory overload in the best way, immersing you in its vibrant culture.

For lunch, I indulged in a Cuban sandwich at Versailles Restaurant, an institution in Miami. The afternoon was spent soaking in the vibrant street life, stopping at Azucar Ice Cream Company for deliciously unique flavors.

It was time to enjoy Miami from the water with the city explored.

I booked a boat tour that took me around Biscayne Bay, offering stunning views of the city skyline and the famous Star Island, home to the rich and famous.

The water was inviting, so I spent the afternoon paddleboarding and snorkeling around Key Biscayne.

As the day ended, I visited the Bayside Marketplace to shop and casually dine by the water. The live music and bustling atmosphere made for a perfect Miami evening.
